What is the St Vincent de Paul Resource Center?
The SVDP Resource Center is a place where people who are homeless in our community are welcome to come for assistance. Our
staff and volunteers are committed to person-centered professional service, meeting each person where she/he is, in a spirit of cordiality.
All services offered at the Center are based on partnership with other human service providers in the community, and assisting the individual in taking the needed steps toward self-sufficiency.
The Center assists individuals in an initial job search, and reference to community job programs, GED (Graduate Equivalency Diploma) studies, assistance with social security or securing IDs or simply respite from the elements.
The Center also provides a mail drop for participants, hot drinks and sandwiches.
